Updates and New Website!

Congratulations everyone who joined us at the Hall of Fame nationals in Chicago! You all did wonderfully. I know we had a great time, met some wonderful people, and saw some amazing dances. Extra congrats to Mari, Kelsey, and Amanda for making it into the Solo Showdown, and to the group of Freshmen for making it into the World Series!

Now that we're all back in the state, classes are resuming. Jumps and Turns classes are ongoing, so call the studio for details if you want to attend. An August schedule of classes for the Extreme Team and those hoping to join the team will soon be available. Registration is even starting already, with special coupons available to those who register early! You can call or e-mail the studio for more information.

Unexpected Big News! The new website is up and running! It's not quite finished yet, so you may notice that several of the links don't work, but it's getting there, so have hope. :) I'm still hoping that people would like to share more dance pictures with me, from dance events and competitions and especially Nationals! Please e-mail them to danceextremeinfo@gmail.com or see Kendall at the studio.

A bit of info

Sorry there haven't been any updates for awhile; School has been eating much of my time lately.

There will be a competition parent meeting on Saturday, December 16th from 9:00-11:00 AM.

Dance Extreme is a drop-off site for donations to Canton shelters. They especially need products for teenage boys, but all donations will be accepted.

DanceExtreme.net is officially our new domain, but if you try to visit it right now, it just redirects you to this site (because the site is still under construction). When it's finished, I'll be sure to let you know. Again, I'm open to any suggestions on content for the site, just email me or leave a comment.

Also, I'm still requesting any dance-related pictures or videos you might like to share. :)

On a final note, here's a video of one of last year's more embarrassing memorable moments:

Web Content

While our official website is under construction, I want to make sure we include EVERYTHING you need. What do you want to make sure we have available to you online?

Make a list, and then leave it in a comment to this entry or e-mail it. If you think of something else you forgot to include the first time, just leave another comment. :)

We just want to make sure we include whatever we can that will be useful.

Pictures and Updates

To avoid confusion, I've moved all the pictures from a personal host to flickr. Please be sure to update your bookmarks!

At the Dance Extreme Gallery, I've just finished moving all the old pictures and adding a few from Shock, which was just last week on October 1st. If you have some pictures from Shock (or anywhere Dance Extreme appeared), please don't hesitate to send them to danceextremeinfo@gmail.com. There should be more pictures on the way.

Our master class with Tokyo and Sonia was amazing. We were so happy to have such amazing and talented dancers teach us. You can see our new mural of Tokyo on the outside wall of Studio I in light blue paint. There are pictures to come of this, too.
