Star Systems

Due to the Star Systems competition in Walled Lake being full, our studio will be registering for the competition held in Kalamazoo the following weekend.

The dates for this will be:
Friday, May 12
Saturday, May 13
Sunday, May 14

It will be held at Chenery Auditorium.

I hope everyone understands that this is not something anyone from Dance Extreme could control. Apparently one of the attending studios alone has over 300 students on its competition team.

And hey, it means we have one extra week to practice, right? :)

BravO! Schedule

We received our schedule for the BravO! competition, which is Saturday and Sunday April 22-23.

Spring Break Schedule

Dance Extreme will close April 16-23rd in observation of Easter and Spring Break. classes will resume on Monday, April 24th.

-Miss Theresa's Friday 10:00am class will meet April 19th and April 21st.
-Miss Cyndi's Saturday AM classes will meet April 15th, but not April 22nd.

Extreme Team members will meet at the following times the week ending April 22:

Monday
5:00 - Senior Lyrical (So High)
6:00 - Senior Hip-Hop (Feel the Girl)
7:00 - Senior Tap (People Who Need People)

Tuesday
5:00-8:30 - Junior Team

Thursday
4:30 - Mini Lyical (Dancing With Angels)
5:00 - Mini Jazz (Be Mine)
5:30-8:00 - Senior Team

Master Class - Roman Vasquez!

Attention Dance Extreme students! Roman Vasquez is coming to teach a master class on Saturday, April 29th.

9:00am - 10:00am : Juniors
10:00am - 11:00am: Seniors
11:00am - 12:00pm: Lunch Break
12:00pm - 1:00am : Boyz

Classes will be $50 per student. This covers Roman's airfaire, hotel room, and meals. Students may attend additional classes for a fee of $15 each.

DE at Relay for Life

On Saturday, May 20, the Extreme Team will perform at the Relay for Life in Heritage Park in Canton.

We'll be performing in three separate blocks of time:
9:30 - 10:00am
3:30 - 4:00pm
7:00 - 7:30pm

We'll have more details as we get closer to the event, don't worry. :) For now, please just clear your schedules for this day.
